Dianna “Coach D” has played on various elite all-star and travel teams. She excelled as a pitcher, catcher, first/second baseman, and center fielder. Coach D was hampered by an injury while playing for the club team at the University of Pittsburgh, which ended her softball playing career. She received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Pitt. She then went on to the University of Florida where she earned a Master of Science in Sport Management with a specialization in Athlete Development. Coach D began coaching at the high school level at Wekiva High School in Orlando, FL while also serving as their athletic trainer and later at Windermere Preparatory School in Windermere, FL. She currently works an injury prevention specialist and athletic trainer for a private company and coaches with the Loch Raven High School softball team. Coach D helps bring a unique perspective to the table, focusing on helping younger athletes recover from injury and play to the best of their abilities.
Coach D is available for individual, group, and team softball lessons for pitching, batting, base running, fielding, and catching.
