    Coach Norris was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. A 2001 graduate from Archbishop Curley High School, he was a part of MIAA A Conference championship teams in 1999 and 2001, earning 1st Team All-Metro honors in 2001. Norris went on to play collegiately at the University of Maryland College Park from 2002-2004.

    Coach Norris began his coaching career at his alma-mater in 2011 as the Pitching Coach for the Friars. He was named the schools 4th Head Baseball Coach that August. In 2012, his first year as the head of the Friars, he led the team to an MIAA A Conference Championship appearance and was named the Baltimore Sun and Varsity Sports Network Coach of the Year. He was honored as the Oldtimers’ Baseball Association John Steadman High School Coach of the Year in 2013. In 2018, Norris was again named Coach of the Year by the Baltimore Sun and Varsity Sports Network, as the Friars won the MIAA A Conference Championship, ending the year with a 28-4 record
